Dánlann Yawl Art Gallery
Dánlann Yawl Art Gallery and the Ó Dálaigh School of Painting is based in Owenduff on the R319 Achill/Mulranny Road with spectacular views of both rugged mountains and sea. This is the perfect environment for the painter who wants to get away from it all and enjoy the ever changing light of a dramatic landscape. Even the great Paul Henry himself found it challenging and inspiring. It is a painters paradise! The Gallery is named after the famous Achill workboat - The Yawl. Seosamh Ó Dálaigh’s original paintings are for sale in the gallery along with many local crafts.
Painting Workshops (weekend/weekly) are held in The Old Stable Studio with outdoor trips to Achill Island/Curraun Peninsula, weather permitting.
