There are many other beautiful walks available on the doorstep – including the internationally renowned Westport to Achill Island “Great Western Greenway” walking and cycle trail, a Blue Flag beach, a nine-hole golf links, pier fishing and Ballycroy National Park. The “Gourmet Greenway” leads you to a host of artisan food producers close by while the excellent Newfield Inn pub/restaurant (with WiFi), just 400 meters from the house, is perfect for those lazy days when you don’t want to cook at home.
