Known in our native language as ‘an gabhar fiáin’ – the wild goat, these animals were pushed to the brink of extinction until the community of Mulranny rallied to save them!

The Old Irish Goat Centre is dedicated to reconnecting people to the forgotten history and heritage of these fascinating animals. Enjoy an immersive heritage experience, and a unique opportunity to meet these elusive creatures up close.  It’s an experience you won’t soon forget.
