Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy a range of watersport activities with surfing, kayaking and paddle-boarding available in Mulranny and Achill while the Bellacragher Bay Boat Club offers sailing from April to October. For those who prefer to take things easy, there are lots of crafts stores, art galleries and good pubs and restaurants in Mulranny, Newport, Westport and Achill.
